Never Pre-Judge by Blake Adams
Don’t pre-judge or make assumptions about people...It is just so easy to do this and if we really stop and think about how many times during the day we do this I am sure it will shock you. A very good visual example is Susan Boyle who appeared on Britain’s Got Talent. Just look at the expressions on the faces of the people in the audience and the judging panel. Hear what the judges have to say and how they admit to pre-judging Susan. One of the four agreements in the book, The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz is make no assumptions. Mr. Ruiz suggests that we all find the courage to ask questions and at the same time express what we really want. We need to clearly communicate with others as clearly as we can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama in our lives. In doing this we are making no assumptions or pre-judgments. In the business of relationship marketing we need to follow that note and never pre-judge or make the assumption that a person would not be interested in our business opportunity because we assume they don’t have the time, don’t have the money to invest, or are at a status or income level that they would not be interested. The ones who you think will do the business Won't and the ones who you think won't do the business Will.
